Hello Northside Community!
My name is Stephanie Sommers. I am the Level 2 ELL teacher in the mornings at Northside. I have been teaching at Northside for 3 years. I really love Northside because of the wonderful teachers, staff, and students who make it such a nice place to work. I have been a teacher for about 10 years. Besides teaching in MN, I have also been an English teacher in Kaunas, Lithuania and Istanbul, Turkey.
I am married, and I have a son who is 1 1/2 years old. His name is Jackson.

My husband and I are also expecting a daughter sometime this January. We're very excited to add a little girl to our family!
Gina said we should write about where we were born. I was born in Clearwater, FL. It's a town that's not too far from Orlando, where Disneyworld is located. I don't really remember living in FL because we moved when I was very young. I also lived in Rochester, NY, and Dallas, TX, and Denver, CO while I was growing up.

Stephanie, BIG CONGRATULATIONS! on your wonderful news! What a great way to announce the next little Sommers!
Jack looks so cute as a cowboy! I wonder if his little sister will look like him? She'll have to be a cutie, too!

Congratulations on your news about your daughter. Jackson and she will keep you very busy! We will miss you while you are on your maternity break. The picture of Jackson is very cute. Send us a picture of your daughter as soon as you can.
