My name is Hue. I am from Thailand. I came to the United States three years ago. The first time I came to the United States I was very surprised. Why? Because when I lived in Thailand, I saw American movies with places and wonderful houses that looked very nice, but when I came to the United States that was very different from when I saw the movie. I came to the United States three years ago. I have studied in the Northside ABE school for three years. I think now my English is better than when I first came to the United States, but I think English is very hard for me. However, I think, I will get my GED.

Hello Hue. You make a very interesting observation about the United States looking different in the movies. The movies usually make things look better than in real life. I hope that despite the difference, you find happiness here in Minnesota. You are a wonderful student. Thank you for sharing your story.
