
Hi, my name is Ei. I'm Hmong. I was born in Laos. My country is located in Southeast Asia. It is a small country; its size is as large as the state of Utah. The north is bordering with China, south is bordering with Cambodia, east is bordering with Vietnam, and west is bordering with Thailand. The population is about six millions. It has three big tribes there, such as Lao, Camue, and Hmong. We have our own traditional. Back there the Hmong tribe usually celebrated the new year on the first day of January. It last about 1-2 weeks it's depend on the population in that area. But it is opposite in here ( The United States) we celebrated new year in different day or even different month. Ei, I like how you compared the size of Laos to the state of Utah. That is very helpful for Americans to be able to compare to something we know. I would like to know more about the other two tribes you mention. I've never heard of them.
